There are few things that lift my spirits like a new pair of shoes or a new handbag. But I have something new to add to that list, The Schiffer Publishing Lookbook. After a long day of interning, I came home to a stunning book filled with looks from my favorite designers’ Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week fashion shows.
Not only do I get to look at Michael Kors, Diane Von Furestenberg and Marc Jacobs’ designs but I get to stare at them. Jesse Marth – the photographer for the SFP Lookbook did a great job freezing these looks forever. At an actual show the looks disappear once they are off the runway only to be left in your imagination and stores that college students like myself cannot afford.
The SFP Lookbook is a great reference tool for those that want to be up-to-date on the trends for the fall and winter. On each page there is trend upon trend from lace to embroidery and leather. With more than 80 designers and thousands of looks there is nothing but inspiration to spice up an outfit to hit the town or to turn heads at work.
If you plan on revamping your closet with fall’s latest trends or just like to look at beautiful clothing then the SFP Lookbook is the way to go. It is the ultimate September Edition if it were a magazine. It is your go-to book for being a savvy fashionista.
