I consider myself to be a very active person. This includes not only my social calendar but also, my physical activity participation. While I often like to rationalize my cooking and shopping habits as workouts; I do belong to a gym and play on various co/ed and women sports leagues around North Jersey. Summer and fall are usually reserved for softball, my favorite sport.
Once this past season started up I just braced myself for the sliding casualties to come. As active as I am, there is one quality about me that you must know. I am clumsy and maybe even borderline careless when it comes to my body. Anything for the win!
So I am routinely tending to my latest scrape, bruise or burn.
I recently got to try out a new advanced formula scar gel called Kelo-cote®. (A fun tidbit for everyone: I got the product and within 2 days I had my newest scrape to try it out on. I know, I am just so lady-like!)
The gel was clear and odorless. It was easy to apply and it only needs to be done 2 times a day for maximum results. I used mine for 3 weeks and each week you could see the red coloration from the new scar starting to fade.
The picture included shows my progression from day 1 and each week following.
I personally saw some great results (As you can see!) in just the first 3 weeks of applying Kelo-cote®. The gel is intended for all types of scars including hypertrophic (red and raised and keloid scars. It can be used for all scars ranging from those from surgery down to a minor cut.
If you have old scars you’re looking to minimize, a cosmetic procedure coming up you want to prepare for because there may be scarring or if you are just as inept as I seem to be in my daily activities and are a fellow scar collector, this gel may be what you are looking for.
