#SCBDEventRecap: Pre-Grand Opening VIP Tasting [email protected] Fair Lawn

On June 2nd, I had the Opportunity to attend Noodles &  Company VIP Tasting at their newest location in Fair Lawn. Not only is this very exciting because it is located in my hometown but it is the company’s 400th restaurant opening company wide. Upon arrival customers were greeted by Noodles & Company Staff members and were able to Spin the Prize wheel for a chance to win prizes that included; Free Bowls, A Noodle, Noodles Sunglasses and the Grand Prize of free noodles for a year. Customers were then able to take pictures on the Noodles “Red Carpet” where you were able to hold up a Noodle, Wear Funky glasses and more. After your picture was taken you were able to write anything you wanted on the Picture such as #GoodLuck or Congrats Fair Lawn Noodles. You then were able to take home a copy of your picture as a souvenir.

Rafael: Area Director for Noodles and Company Motivated employees and cheered them on throughout the night! He also provided a Overview of the Company in terms of their History and Background of their menu. Noodles and Company has three different menu categories; Mediterranean, American and Asian cuisine

The first dish we had was Classic Chicken Noodles Soup. A little salty for my liking but delicious flavor! The Chicken and soup is made fresh every day made with wide egg noodles.

The Next Dish we had was the Mediterranean Salad which was made with Taziki Greek yogurt. This dish had a spicy kick but was one of my favorites of the night. Made with Cavatelli noodles, black olives, and feta cheese. The perfect combination! It was very fresh and the spice was not overpowering.

The Mediterranean dish Penne Rosa uses a special spicy Rosa sauce. You have the choice to get this dish topped with Parmesan or feta cheese. This dish was amazing and the taste reminds me of a penne vodka dish. ( Tip: You can substitute the Spicy Rosa sauce for regular marinara).

Pad Thai: Topped with bran sprouts if the most difficult dish on the menu to get perfect says area director Rafael. Pad Thai is made differently in more restaurants. Rafael also says Noodles and Company makes their Pad Thai a little drier than most. Although it was a little dry it had has a ton of flavor and a sweet and spicy taste.

Wisconsin Mac & Cheese: One of Rafael’s personal favorite and i can see why! Extremely cheesy and flavorful. One of the most ordered dishes on the menu. Can’t go wrong with some comfort Mac & Cheese.

Spaghetti & Meatballs: Traditionally spaghetti and Meatballs but good to say the least. The meatballs are made of beef and pork.

Lastly were were able to try some of their desserts. The desserts are not listed on their main menu but will have a list of desserts available at the registers. Their desserts include a Chocolate espresso cake, Carrot Cake and Tres Leches. Right before we left we were given a treat to take home. A Homemade rice crispy treat that Noodles & Company makes fresh in house. This gooey and sticky treat is a must try!

After much preparation i would like to congratulate Noodles &  Company Fair Lawn for all their hard work they put into their 2 day VIP Noodles Tasting Event. Workers were so friendly going around to check on each customers and taking away plates, filling up customers drinks and signing members up for their e-club. Management and owners kept workers motivated all throughout the night. This VIP tasting event was a success to say the least!
