#SCBDReview: @JessicaDanto Checks out Island of Treats at GSP!

This weekend I came across a new candy kiosk in Garden State Plaza named Island of Treats. If you are a sucker for sweets and have a big sweet tooth like me, this place is to die for. With over 72 varieties of gummies, candies, and candied nuts there are endless combinations you can get.  Customers are greeted by candy workers who offer you generous samples of candy and nuts. As I observed they took the time with each and every customer even when they were busy to tell them about their candy where it was sourced and to answer any questions they had. I was surprised to learn about the two types of gummy bears they had American vs. German. One of the workers told me about the differences I.e. where they are from, flavor differences, texture difference etc. It was great to see some candy from my childhood I felt like I kid again screaming to all my friends “Do you remember that candy”! Customers are allowed to mix and match everything and anything that Island of Treats has to offer. All candy is sold by weight. $3.49 a quarter lb. and $13.96 per lb. Trust me it’s worth it
