If there is one thing for sure, the #SCBDTeam loves wine! We’ve had the opportunity to visit a few wineries in New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania over this Summer and Fall. One of our team favorite is Cream Ridge Winery located in Allentown, NJ in Central Jersey and roughly 20 minutes from Six Flags.
Cream Ridge Winery is unlike most wineries in the area because they specialize in fruit wines and they do it very well. The signature wine there is Almond Berry and it is delish!!! The whole team loved it! They also have seasonal sangria available which is great and perfect to pair with your next meal!
Lauren’s POV: I really enjoyed visiting Cream Ridge Winery with some of the Small Chick Big Deals team on Saturday. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, as well as what you can pair with the wines. They have a great deal on tasting, $5 to taste 10 different wines and you also get a glass to take home! I loved getting to try a lot of the wines they offer. We got a tour after our tasting where one of the managers, Tim, showed us the barrels and told us how they were made, as well as showing us the vineyards. They have so many unique flavors and really know what they are doing. I made sure to get some wine to take home and definitely will be back!
Jessica’s POV: Cream Ridge Winery was the first winery i have been to and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The entire staff was so welcoming and the hospitality was right on point. The ladies took the time with each and every customer so it was a personable wine tasting. We got to try ten wines for $5. Even though i am not really a wine drinker for anyone who is and isn’t you can’t go wrong for this price. They have a list of all the wines available with a great variety. My favorite of the tasting which was the frozen Sangria. I loved it! It comes in a big frozen bag that all you have to do is stick it right in the freezer. If you go to Cream Ridge Winery make sure to try it and also add some of the strawberry wine to it to make it a frozen strawberry sangria. It was refreshing and delicious. One of the managers gave us a tour of the production room. All the wines are made and package right on right. The history of the company was incredible and it was great to be able to walk around the property afterwards. Make sure to check out their weekly entertainment and events. *Tip* Don’t forget to pack a picnic bag and some snacks. The staff at cream ridge encourages you to have a picnic while visiting.
We love it there and will most certainly be back soon!!! Say hi if you see some of the team there and tell them SCBD sent you! Cheers!
