I pass Fireside Grill & Bar in Marlboro on my way to and from work almost everyday. And every time I see the flashing sign with different specials everyday of the week that all sound delish and won’t break my wallet!
I had gone there for happy hour once before i came in last week for a networking event. I was really impressed with the prices and food quality at happy hour so I knew this was going to be great. We had a special menu at the networking event so I opted for house Pinot (happy hour prices) and the pulled pork sliders that came with chips. I also got to try their famous sweet potato waffle fries. I started drinking my wine as I awaited my dinner. I’m not usually a Pinot Grigio drinker but it was pretty good. I tend to be very picky about what wines I drink but I couldn’t complain and might even get it again.
A few minutes later, my meal came out with my side of the sweet potato fries. They are a must if you go there because they are not greasy and totally addictive. I couldn’t stop eating them and only had a few left when I finished my meal. The pulled pork was really good. It was juicy, flavorful and didn’t overpower the slider buns. I was very impressed. The homemade chips complemented the meal very well too with the sweetness of the sauce.
I have a feeling I’ll be making many more to stops to Fireside in the future whether it be for happy hour or dinner. The quality of the food there is amazing and the prices are budget friendly. Cheers to new finds!
