#SCBDReview: Heavenly Food & Bevvies at Haven in Edgewater


If you are in the Hudson county area and looking for a dining destination make sure you put Haven Riverfront Restaurant on your list. Chef Ibrahim Sanz has come up with an eclectic and any palette friendly menu. And the mixologists behind the bar have been hard at work coming up with an awesome menu that pairs with it for the Fall.


If you didn’t catch my demo and dish preview you are missing out. I got to try a new cod dish Chef is putting on the menu that came with croutons, avocado, heirloom onions, and potatoes. It was delicious and so light! I also got to try a signature appetizer, the taquitos! Chef uses an empanada like dough that separates them from the rest and makes an avocado sauce to go with them. They are filled with chicken but not to be missed.


I got to demo two new fall cocktails with the Bartender, George. We made a Dark n Stormy, which I’ve demoed before and Old Fashioned.  They were both delicious and they have more fall cocktails in the works. So stay tuned, I’m sure we’ll be back.
