I love breakfast and don’t cook it as much as I should or could. And honestly when it comes to my cooking I prefer making lunch or dinner, it’s just more my style. And I kind of enjoy having breakfast or brunch prepared for me. So after a night out in Seaside with Ty, we were hungry and since Seaside was starting off season our breakfast options were limited. I hadn’t been to Shut Up and Eat before and felt like it was the perfect opportunity.
When you walk in, you don’t feel like your eating at a restaurant and it feels more like someone’s home kitchen. The servers wear pajamas and have this “Jersey Fresh” vibe about them.
You definitely get a bang for your buck, my eggs benedict with avocado was only $10 and so worth it. The coffee was strong which was just what I needed. The home fries were not overcooked either and weren’t over seasoned.
Would i go back? YES! WITHOUT A DOUBT. I couldn’t believe I didn’t go sooner. It’s a perfect little breakfast nook but they only take cash (so don’t forget it).
Here’s to eating delish, filling breakfasts!
